IT Director Ben Linde told supervisors that the county’s current website vendor, Spinutech, quoted roughly $40,000–$45,000 to convert the county website to a new platform and indicated payment plans were available; Linde said he will meet two other vendors for additional quotes later in the week.
During the department head meeting the board discussed administrative changes including setting an earlier deadline for agenda items and limiting public-comment time to three minutes unless the speaker requests a slot on the agenda. Sheriff Todd Johnson said he had spoken with HR attorney Galloway about public comment time and raised an asset-purchase question involving equipment bought before a new vehicle arrived; he said State Auditors "did not see a problem with the equipment purchase." EMA Director Tyler Thygesen suggested updating the Fixed Asset policy so add-ons purchased separately can be added to the finished asset record.
