Conservation director asks county to mow around elk enclosure at Nathaniel Hamlin Park; cabins drawing repeat bookings

Conservation Director Bruce Haag told supervisors he needs the Roadside crew to mow an area around the elk enclosure fence at Nathaniel Hamlin Park to allow staff to work safely and access the fence. Engineer Mitch Rydl agreed to contact the Roadside Manager to schedule the mowing.
Haag also reported that cabin rentals in the park are performing well, with guests returning to re-book after stays. Supervisors recorded the direction to have Roadside perform the mowing and to coordinate with Conservation staff as needed.
