Auditor reports higher juvenile allocation for FY27; state auditors scheduled for late July

Auditor Lisa Frederiksen reported that the SWI Juvenile quarterly allocation has increased from $8,554.39 per quarter to $12,399.16 per quarter, an amount supervisors said will be added to an FY27 budget amendment. Frederiksen told the board that the State Auditors are scheduled to visit in person during the week of July 27, 2026; supervisors asked the Auditor to arrange an alternate representative to attend monthly SWI Juvenile meetings when Supervisor Hansen cannot attend.
Frederiksen also presented month-end expense reports for June 2026 and noted a 28E agreement under review between Audubon and Guthrie County to temporarily share a VA Director; that agreement was pending approval by Guthrie County's attorney before returning to Audubon supervisors for review.
