Superintendent outlines near-term priorities: data presentation, curriculum support and staff recruitment

She said the administrative team has completed initial reviews with building climate teams; "We will plan to present kind of an overview of the aggregate district data at the 1 of the August board meetings," and in September the board will be invited to hear building administrators report on climate-plan work and next steps. Dr. Rose described planned professional learning for sixth-grade social studies and science and said curriculum-writing funds exist in the budget to support that work.
On staffing, Dr. Rose said the district has interviewed for the school business manager position but currently has no contract in place; she is seeking interim contracted services through LEARN while reposting the position and networking among candidates.
