Select Board approves year-end warrants, accountant says FY26 closed within budget

At its July 14 meeting the Oak Bluffs Select Board voted to approve the July 7 joint meeting minutes and a set of payment warrants that Town Accountant Blair said closed out fiscal year 2026 within the approved budget.
The warrant approvals included several large disbursements recorded in the minutes: 06.30.2026 26-27EXP for $1,126,885.73 and 06.30.2026 26-27SCH for $993,125.42 among others. Accountant Blair confirmed the June 30 warrants closed out FY26 within budget limits.
Board members did not ask for additional audit or hold-back conditions during the meeting; the action was treated as routine fiscal housekeeping ahead of the new fiscal year.
