Township Manager Eric Traub explained the Board action to approve an Agreement for Determining Hydric Floodplain Boundaries at 350 Dundee Drive. Under the agreement, property owners may submit engineering reports arguing that soil conditions warrant adjustment to floodplain mapping; the township will forward submitted reports to an outside engineer for review, with review costs covered by the applicant.
Traub and the Board emphasized that the June 16 action authorizes the review process only and does not itself alter any floodplain designation. The motion carried unanimously.
