An emergency meeting of the Danby Board of Selectmen on Feb. 6, 2025, resulted in a unanimous vote to authorize absentee ballots to be sent to all Danby voters. Chairman Bender opened the meeting at 1:00 p.m.; Selectman T. Fuller moved to authorize ballots for all voters, the motion was seconded by Selectman K. Abbott and approved by the members present.
The minutes note that G. Heaton and S. Haines contacted Chairman Bender by e-mail stating they agreed with the motion. Clerk Janice Arnold recorded that Selectman K. Abbott then moved to adjourn, the motion was seconded by Selectman T. Fuller, and the meeting adjourned at 1:02 p.m. No ordinances, statutes, or additional staff reports were presented during the emergency session.
