The student page, Isabel Trinidad, said, "I'm Isabel Trinidad, and I'm coming from Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy," and described being dual-enrolled through NIC and plans to join the Army to become a registered nurse. Representative Steve Tanner introduced himself as the District 13 representative from part of Nampa and said he previously served on the Education Committee. Representative Don Hall (District 25, Twin Falls) said he brings about 20 years of local government experience on city council and county commission and that he requested assignment to Health and Welfare.
Members also volunteered for routine committee tasks: Representative Egbert agreed to proofread the minutes. The chair closed by encouraging members to review rules and submit RSs or draft bills in advance so staff can prepare for hearings.
