Staff presented Sandra Mazo for appointment to the Wavemaker Fellowship committee and described committee composition requirements (minimum six, maximum nine members with specified sector representation). "Sandra is coming to us with over 30 years of expertise in lending and economic development," staff said, and noted she is deputy director of commerce for the city of Pawtucket and was recognized by the Greater Providence Board of Realtors in 2024.
Board members had no objections and approved the appointment by voice vote; staff thanked Mazo for agreeing to serve. The appointment adds municipal representation and additional industry perspective to the committee.
