Board approves facility beliefs, insurance endorsement and sets bid for three used buses

At the July 20 meeting the board moved and approved several procedural items and resolutions during the Facilities & Support Services report and later business.
The board approved a motion to adopt the board's facility beliefs as presented. Trustees then adopted a resolution accepting an endorsement from the district's insurance carrier that provides indemnification for employees required to give bonds for faithful performance of duties. Both motions were moved, seconded and passed by voice vote.
The board also approved a resolution to offer by public bid three 2018 IC corporate combined unit school buses and set a public hearing on the proposed sale for Aug. 10, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the Dubuque Community School District boardroom. No board member asked to pull items from the consent agenda earlier in the meeting.
These actions were recorded by voice vote; the meeting transcript records "Aye" on each and the chair stated the motions carried.
