LSO analysts show budget dashboards and explain where members can find line-item and historical data

Alex Williamson, a budget and policy analyst with the Legislative Services Office (LSO), and Morgan Poloni, LSO budget and policy analyst, guided committee members through LSO online tools for reviewing agency budgets. Poloni showed where to find the agency base-budget builder, appropriation history, enhancement history and performance measure reports required by Idaho code; Williamson said LSO staff will provide line-item details on request.
Keith Bybee, Division Manager of Budget Policy Analysis, noted his staff had prepared inflation-adjusted, per-capita analyses and said those materials can be located in session records and LSO publications. LSO staff encouraged members to contact analysts directly for deeper line-item or managed-care contract information and offered to share existing analytical reports.
