Curt Martin, who identified himself as the newly elected Kingdom East school board representative for Concord, told the Select Board that the district’s budget did not pass on its first vote and that the board will hold a revote on April 28.
"There will be a revote on the April 28, and there will be a meeting here at the school that walked through the details of the budget... That meeting's on the 16th here at 05:30," Martin said, inviting Concord residents to attend a public budget review. He said most outstanding questions had been answered in a recent vote, but one of six questions remained unresolved and prompted the revote.
Board staff noted estimated tax‑rate impacts and absentee ballot mailings; the clerk reported an estimated tax rate example and that absentee ballots had been issued. Martin and board members encouraged turnout and said staff would post meeting details on the school and town webpages.
