The Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors approved the appointment of Partha Dass as an alternate member of the Environmental Advisory Council, with a term expiring December 31, 2026. The motion was made by Chair Scott M. Badami and seconded by Supervisor Robert A. Brunner; the board voted unanimously.
Township Manager Eric Traub told the board the position was created by a March ordinance allowing EAC alternates and that Mr. Dass had "expressed interest in serving and had attended recent EAC meetings." Traub recommended the appointment based on that participation. No public comment was offered on the appointment.
