Township Manager Eric Traub told the board that the EAC's recent student representatives had graduated and that Doolin "attended the previous meeting, expressed interest in serving, and was highly recommended by her high school teacher," a recommendation Traub said supported moving forward with the appointment. Supervisor Joyce M. Keller thanked Doolin for volunteering and noted appreciation for students who take on community service responsibilities despite busy schedules.
The appointment does not change EAC voting membership; the student role is non‑voting and intended to provide a youth perspective to the advisory body. No members of the public spoke during the appointment discussion.
