Eric Olson, a resident who identified himself on the record, asked the board to approve the town portion of the annual Ride for Moe scheduled for May 9, 2026. "I scheduled for May 9, and we start at 9 with the big bridal," Olson said as he described the route through a small section of Concord and back to Wilson Road. He told the board the event typically draws about 350 participants, with roughly 200 taking the longer ride.
Organizers said they plan to finalize sponsors and vendors earlier than in past years to ease planning and that they would provide insurance documentation and a certificate of liability for towns on the route. The board moved to approve the event permit and voted unanimously to grant the request.
