Board hears water commission update: permit revisions and B-tank inspection due

Steve Boyce, representing the water commission, told the board the transfer-pump permit is currently under state review and that engineers will revise the permit for a 4-inch line from well 15 to tank 3 before moving to the B tank design work. He said the B tank inspection is due and the team will locate and replace pressure relief valves as needed.
Board members directed staff to assign priority numbers to the water commission project list for board review. Paul DiPietro asked that a Thursday Blast include a water update; Tom Sewall suggested including guidance on pressure-reducing valves. Executive Director James Walker will follow up with the state engineer on the transfer-pump permit.
