Town Council appoints TDRB members, directs review of past projects

The Town Design Review Board sent recommendations for three appointments that the council approved unanimously.
Paul Powell moved to accept the TDRB's recommendation to appoint Jason Densmer, Jared Schmidt and Rob Powell to open seats; Garry Stanislaw seconded and the motion passed 4-0. Cindy Barney reported that in February the TDRB approved three roof projects, a fence, a deer fence for the farm and one landscape project involving a pool.
Council also discussed turnover and institutional knowledge on the TDRB, noting that some members resigned after contentious discussions. To help with inspections and documentation, Douglas Patchin moved to appoint Tom Woodall to a temporary TDRB final inspection role; the motion passed 4-0.
