Committee votes to hold reportable disease docket for one week for additional review

"The intent would be to be able to digest a little bit more, go through it with a fine tooth comb and actually look at a lot of it and have a better understanding of it," Levitt said.
The committee then voted on the substitute motion by roll call; the clerk read members' responses. The chair announced that the substitute motion to hold the docket passed and that the matter will be taken up time certain on February 3. Members were directed to contact department staff with specific questions in the interim so staff can provide clarifications ahead of the next consideration.
This action postpones final committee approval of the reportable disease docket until the scheduled follow-up date.
