The Colchester School Board reviewed a multi-item consent agenda that listed licensed hires, temporary leaves, transfers, multiple non-licensed hires and resignations, and one coach appointment. A personnel item on the agenda was held for discussion in executive session.
After returning from executive session, Director Jennifer Fath moved to approve the licensed-employee section of the consent agenda and to deny the non-licensed employees section that required board approval; the motion passed unanimously. The consent documents presented on Aug. 20 included licensed hires such as Danielle Brizzolara (math teacher) and other staffing updates, and support-staff items including new hires, transfers and resignations (for example, Bryan Tandy, maintenance resignation; Donna Thompson, food service resignation). The board recorded that certain non-licensed sections requiring board approval were denied pending follow-up.
