Hidden Springs council appoints two new members; president to resign at month end

The Hidden Springs Town Association voted April 22 on several personnel changes. The council appointed Chris Zoephel to replace Pam Peters (motion by Garry Stanislaw, seconded by Paul Powell; vote 4-0) and later appointed Kahle Becker to a council seat effective May 1 (motion by Paul Powell, seconded by Douglas Patchin; vote 4-0). John Ahrens announced he and his wife sold their home and that he will resign from the council April 30.
The council also announced that Chuck Vertrees has accepted the Co-Town Manager position and will begin May 12; Pam Peters is serving temporarily in the role until staffing is finalized. Council members said a formal job notice will be posted for the Co-Town Manager role and that task assignments will be worked out by staff and volunteers.
