Planners said proffers cover a broad range of outcomes. "They would construct a multiuse trail along their property frontage, or they would provide some sort of money set aside for the future improvement of roads, or they'd put in a traffic signal if the traffic generated by the site warranted a new signal," Koprowick said. The guests emphasized that proffers "run with the land," meaning they remain attached to a site through sales unless changed by a later entitlement process.
