Councilmember Terry Larson reported on a December meeting with Keller Associates about repairing 4th East near the elementary schools and said the consultant's estimates were substantially higher than the city had anticipated. Council identified a target budget of $1.5 million for the rehabilitation project.
Keller Associates provided a proposal outlining improvements and probable construction costs. The council authorized Keller Associates to move forward with soliciting bids based on the report and within the city's budget; the motion, moved by Councilmember Todd Thomas and seconded by Councilmember Chris Larsen, passed unanimously.
