Board approves two executive-session amendments to Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct

During an executive session, the board approved two amendments to its policy documents.
Director Kahle Becker proposed adding the phrase "close personal friendships" under the spousal or family member conflict mitigation section of the Conflict of Interest policy; the board approved the addition 5-0. Becker also proposed adding the word "improper" to Statement 10 of the Code of Conduct so that the statement would read, in part, "Harass, threaten, or attempt through any improper means to control or instill fear in any board member, owner, resident, employee or contractor." That change was approved 5-0.
The minutes record both amendments as approved by unanimous recorded vote and attribute the proposals to Becker.
