During the briefing, TJ Farrer advised homeowners to document property conditions before crews arrive: "I highly recommend if you have a manhole in your backyard to take as many pictures as you possibly can." He said photos provide documentation if concerns arise from equipment staging or repairs.
Staff reiterated that contractors may need to leave equipment on private property and that residents should call project contacts (Farrer, James or Chuck) if contractors block driveways or cause issues. While staff said crews will try to limit disruption to roughly a week in a given backyard, they cautioned major repairs could require additional access.
The briefing closed with a reminder that the city will issue paper notices and use Alert Verona to notify homeowners about when crews will be working at specific addresses.
