Resident Beatriz Wallace told the council she experienced ongoing problems with an ADT Solar installation at her home, saying the company left her system "with no cover over the panel box" and installed large battery boxes she believes are unnecessary for a residential system. She said ADT has not responded to requests to fix the work and that ADT is no longer operating in southeast Florida.
Mayor Russ Nidy said he has an appointment with the Building Official the next day and will ask the official to inspect Wallace’s installation.
