Cloud Lake joins county effort for Resilient Florida vulnerability assessment

Council was briefed that Palm Beach County will submit a Resilient Florida grant application on behalf of ten smaller municipalities, including Cloud Lake, to fund vulnerability assessments required by state law. The County has contracted Tetra Tech to conduct assessments and a steering committee will be formed to meet monthly.
The program requires public participation — two outreach events and two presentations before participating councils. The consultant is expected to attend a March or April council meeting to outline the project and specify what the municipalities need to provide.
