FPL outlines customer plan and warns of 6% rate increase for Cloud Lake in 2025

Council and staff raised priorities including converting utilities to underground, septic-to-sewer conversion and concerns about the 40-day streetlight outage repair timeframe. Toledo said lateral lines might go underground at a later date but he doubted that feeder lines on concrete poles would be moved in the immediate future; he had no firm timeline for removal of old poles or coordination dates for AT&T and Comcast conversions.
