Board approves dropout and remediation reports; exemption policy tabled

The Bridge Creek Board of Education voted to approve the district's 2024 Dropout Report and the 2023–24 remediation report during the Oct. 8 meeting. Each motion was made and passed by recorded 5–0 votes.
Mrs. Danielle Epps moved to approve the 2024 Dropout Report; the motion was seconded by Terry Vincent and passed, with recorded votes Yea: 5, Nay: 0. The board also approved the 23–24 remediation report (motion by Mrs. Epps, seconded by Mrs. Esparza) and approved the Capacity for transfers (motion by Mrs. Epps, seconded by Mrs. Esparza). The exemption policy was discussed under Items for Consideration but the board took no action on that item at this meeting.
