The Kennebunk Select Board on June 23 approved a liquor license application for Hillcrest Golf, 77 Western Avenue, after Town Clerk Merton Brown confirmed all required paperwork had been submitted. Chair Miriam Whitehouse opened the public hearing and no members of the public spoke against the application.
"All of the required paperwork had been submitted," Merton Brown said during the hearing. The motion to approve the license was moved by Lisa J. Pratt, seconded by Kevin Therrien, and passed by a show-of-hands vote of 6 in favor, 0 opposed, with one member absent (Leslie G. Trentalange). The license approval took place during the Select Board's regular meeting at Town Hall and via Zoom.
