Anne Pollard, the career coach who operates the van, described day-to-day use and told the commission she typically seats six students at a time and has observed students move into job shadows, work-based learning and scholarship opportunities but said there are no hard statistics tracking how many participants later return to the region. Commissioners asked about regional coverage and whether the program reaches counties beyond the six-county Region 3; Shiela said the funding and the service have been limited to those six counties by design.
