The Heritage Pines Community Development District Board on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed Operation and Maintenance budget for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room. District Manager Chuck Adams told supervisors the proposed FY2026 budget is similar to FY2025 but shows a net reduction in appropriations of approximately $4,000 and that the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by $2.88 per unit year-over-year.
Adoption came on a motion by Vice Chair Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Assistant Secretary Carol Vaughan, and passed unanimously. Adams said he reviewed increases, decreases and adjustments compared to FY2025 and explained the drivers of the changes; he also noted that notices required by Florida law will be filed and posted before the July hearing. The public hearing will provide an opportunity for residents to comment on the final budget and assessments.
