Superintendent Aaron Bayer updated the Oregon Trail School District 46 board on Sept. 8 about upcoming district events and governance matters. He announced the No Pioneer Left Behind golf tournament set for Sept. 19, 2025 to raise scholarship and activity funds and said the 2025–26 school year is the high school’s 13th year.
Bayer also referenced a new executive order regarding student cell phones and told the board that the district’s bond measure will appear on the Nov. 4, 2025 election ballot; he said ballot materials are expected to be issued Oct. 15, 2025. The board did not take a vote on the bond at this meeting; the announcement was informational.
Board members did not amend the superintendent’s report and moved on to consent items and separate action items later in the agenda.
