Councilman Jesse Schmidt explained recommended transfers among city accounts: move $143,000 from the Sewer Bond to the NPAIT Debt Service subaccount; transfer the Park Fund Savings Account into the NPAIT General Fund; and, at Union Bank & Trust, move funds from two matured CDs (Water Sinking Fund and Sewer Sinking Fund) to NPAIT Water and Sewer subaccounts. Council approved the fund transfers on a motion by Dan Zieg, seconded by Jesse Schmidt; roll call YES: Buck, Schmidt, Simmons, Zieg.
Separately, City Engineer Brian Schuele introduced a concept to construct a concrete parking lot on the east side of the T-Ball Field for council review. The minutes capture the proposal as a planning/engineering item but do not record final funding authorization or a construction timeline.
