Commissioners approve vendor payments, grant filings and multiple contracts totaling key county investments

A prosecutor's-office representative acknowledged electronic filings for the VOCA and State Victims Assistance grant applications to continue advocate services through 09/30/2027; the representative provided grant totals and match figures during the reading. The board also authorized a Purina Foundation grant submission by Job & Family Services to support a wraparound program partnering with Pressley Ridge, the Clermont Animal Shelter and Interparish Ministry Food Pantry, with awards reported in the $10,000–$50,000 range and no local match required.
On procurement, the board authorized advertising for bids to replace the Grama Tower generator in Bethel with bids due 08/27/2026; it approved awarding SCADA systems-integration and support contracts to specified vendors at an estimated annual amount of $125,000 per vendor for a three-year term; and it approved executing an OPWC project agreement (CJ04AD) authorizing a $1,000,000 grant for Chapel Road water-main replacement while noting the county share of the project cost. Several project change orders and a final payment for MGS water treatment plant construction (release of retainage and principal $8,820.40) were also approved by roll call.
