Council expands GIS mapping contract, raises budget to $7,500

Keller Associates presented an amendment to its Owner-Consultant Agreement to update the city’s GIS maps, add new developments and unmapped utilities, and preserve institutional knowledge of utility infrastructure. Director Shawn Oliverson said the original budget was Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) and requested an additional Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) for a total of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500). Council approved the amendment unanimously.
Council asked whether mapping could include a layer for Consolidated Water Company secondary irrigation lines; Hollingshead said Keller Associates would coordinate the highest priorities with Director Oliverson and include Consolidated Water’s lines if they fell into that priority list.
