ICfL highlights LiLI databases and statewide e-book alliance

Marina Rose, the ICfL’s E-Resources Library Consultant, presented an overview of Libraries Linking Idaho (LiLI) and the Idaho Digital E-Book Alliance (IDEA), describing LiLI as a suite of roughly 150 academic research and learning databases intended to support K–12 schools with limited resources. Rose said LiLI for Schools provides curated, grade-level access and that the LiLI website includes webinars and tutorials.
Rose also described IDEA as a partnership between schools and public libraries that offers more than 25,000 e-book and audiobook titles accessible through the Libby and Sora apps. State Librarian Stephanie Bailey-White noted roughly 20% of Idaho residents live outside a library taxing jurisdiction and described outreach efforts by Rose, William Lamb, and Bailey-White to make IDEA available to eligible Idahoans.
