Town announces Halloween parade, tree lighting and playground updates

Supervisor Bott opened the regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. and reviewed community announcements: the annual Halloween parade will step off at 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 27 from the Family Dollar parking lot and proceed down Main Avenue to Town Hall; the Holiday Tree Lighting is scheduled for Dec. 7 and the town reports 60 trees are being sold this year.
Bott also updated the board that playground rubber coating will be installed next week, the lake project paving will begin the following day, the security and public-address system is about 90% complete, and heating system repairs are scheduled for the coming week.
