Town Board accepts developer-installed water and sewer mains, moves to shore up Route 4 water system

The board approved the measures by voice vote. "Once they are completed and the town does the inspections, the town usually takes them over," Supervisor Bott said, explaining the town’s inspection and takeover process.
Later the board approved a motion to explore collaborative updates to the Route 4 Corridor’s water line and awarded a contract for water pressure improvements to JNR Construction & Excavation Inc. Supervisor Bott described the Route 4 main as "a 36" pipe running up Route #4," and said the town wants to "get in front of the curve of repairs." The board approved the bid award and the exploration authorization by majority voice votes.
