At the April 16 board meeting Superintendent Troy Jerome reported elementary enrollment of 151 students in grades PK-6 and a 91.9 percent attendance rate. Assistant Superintendent David Norton reported secondary enrollment of 149 students and an 89.5 percent attendance average.
Norton told the board that Measure 98 funding will support greenhouse upgrades at the school, specifying electricity, water, fencing and new plastic as planned improvements. Norton also noted staff attendance at a GEAR UP conference and the availability of a student success app providing tutoring, scholarship and career resources for secondary students.
Board members did not take separate action on the Measure 98 items during this meeting; the updates were provided as part of routine administrative reports.
