Board elects Jeff Hemphill chair, Jennifer Gourlie vice chair

At the Pilot Rock School District Board meeting on Aug. 21, board member Keri Standley moved to elect Jeff Hemphill as Board Chair; Anita Baleztena seconded the motion and all board members present approved. Later in the meeting, Standley moved to elect Jennifer Gourlie as Vice Chair; Baleztena seconded and the motion was approved by all members present.
The reorganization took place at the start of the meeting, which convened at 7:30 p.m. in Pilot Rock Elementary (Building B). The board’s attendance sheet lists five members present (Jennifer Gourlie, Tim Weinke, Keri Standley, Jeff Hemphill and Anita Baleztena) and two absent (Richard Hemphill and Stacy Hansen).
