Committee accepts consolidated long-term care administrator chapter created after board merger

The committee accepted a new consolidated rule chapter that combines prior rules for nursing home and residential care facility administrators into a single chapter for the Idaho Board of Long Term Care Administrators.
Allegra Earle explained that the two prior boards completed rule rewrites in 2024 and that House Bill 28, enacted 07/01/2025, merged the boards. "As a result, I am here today to present a single unified rule chapter that consolidates the previously approved rules into 1 comprehensive chapter for the newly established board," Earle said. She told the committee the revisions were mainly reformatting and that no substantive changes were made to the rules approved during the 2025 session.
Senator Blaylock moved to accept docket 2441012501 and Senator Wintrow seconded; the motion carried on a voice vote. Committee members were directed to the legislative review book and to the IDAPA 24 divider for the new chapter materials.
