Senate committee approves repeal of residential care facility administrator rules

Allegra Earle presented the docket and asked the committee to approve the repeal, noting the change aligns the rules with the newly formed Idaho Board of Long Term Care Administrators. "If there are no questions, I respectfully request the committee's approval to repeal docket number 24-419-012501 effective 07/01/2026," Earle said. Senator Van Orden moved for approval; the motion passed on a voice vote.
Earle told the committee the revisions were mainly reformatting to combine the two prior chapters into a single chapter and that no substantive changes were made to the rules previously approved in 2025. The repeal carries the same effective date requested for the related nursing home administrators' repeal.
