Armando de Jesus summarized the 2025 regional urban water management plan the city joined through 3 Valleys Municipal Water District. He said the regional study combined historical production and loss data, multiple demand-projection scenarios and a route risk assessment across normal, single dry-year and five-year drought scenarios to test reliability through 2050. The plan also updated Glendora’s water shortage contingency plan and clarified stage targets and customer communication protocols.
Armando said the regional analysis concluded the member agencies have sufficient supplies to meet projected demands through 2050 under the tested scenarios and that conservation and diversified supplies remain key to long-term reliability. The commission received and filed the plan (which city council had adopted previously) by voice vote 5–0.
