Public Services staff told the committee that bids for a test Well 7 are opening and that, if test results support construction, the full well infrastructure would be budgeted next year at an estimated $2,500,000. "We'll be opening bids tomorrow for Well 7 test Well," staff said; "if we find good water quality and good sandstone, we'll be looking to build the physical infrastructure building the full well next year estimated at 2,500,000."
Greg also confirmed the village has purchased approximately 40 acres at the corner of Grama Road and Northtown Road for future public‑services needs, yard‑waste relocation, and an associated community‑park plan. He stated the purchase price was about $1.8 million and that initial planning for the new public‑services site (site assessment, archaeological reviews, borings and concept design) is estimated at about $600,000. Board members discussed possible reuse or sale of the existing public‑services building and noted that proceeds could be TID‑restricted.
