Board members discussed prioritization and replacement cycles for toolcats and skid steers, the expected 20+ year lifespan for proposed plow equipment, and the prospect of reducing salt use with a new plow design. No final purchase contracts were approved at the meeting; staff asked for board concurrence to hold equipment offers and include these items in the capital plan.
