The Redmond School District Board unanimously elected Michael Summers as board chair and Liz Goodrich as vice chair for the 2024–25 school year at a special meeting on Aug. 7, 2024. Director Amanda Page nominated Summers for chair; Director Keri Lopez seconded the motion. The vote carried 5–0.
Director Page then nominated Liz Goodrich for vice chair, a motion seconded by Director Eric Lea; that vote also carried 5–0. The board convened at 8:00 a.m., established a quorum and completed the leadership elections early in the meeting. The board signed the minutes with Michael Summers, Chair, and Gina Blanchette, Executive Assistant, listed at the close of the meeting.
