After staff located a third available Lightning and confirmed remaining grant and match funds, council separately authorized purchase of a third vehicle for $52,253.66. Keiser explained the city budgeted $219,000 for the project (grant funds plus match), and the city will use budgeted vehicle-replacement funds to cover the local 10.27% match. The council asked whether the grant was limited to electric vehicles; Caroline (S5) confirmed it was.
