The Franklin Township Sewer Authority formalized its 2026–27 budget during the July meeting, approving Resolution 5 to adopt the authority’s fiscal plan for 06/01/2026–05/31/2027. Staff described appropriations of approximately $17.2 million, revenue anticipation around $18.0 million and capital expenditures estimated at $3.0 million for the fiscal cycle.
Executive Director Joe Danielson summarized the P&L and said staff anticipate a moderate revenue increase tied partly to a user-rate decision the board will make in October. "Our appropriations for the year is $17,400,000," Joe said while reviewing the budget packet. The board corrected a numerical typo in the budget document before the roll-call vote and then approved the resolution.
The board voted to introduce the budget earlier in the meeting for public posting and then took roll-call action to adopt the final resolution. Staff said the budget assumes modest revenues and includes capital planning for projects discussed elsewhere in the packet; the board recorded the adoption by roll call under Resolution 5.
