Adam Murray, a staff member on Councilor Smith’s team who lives in Pleasant Valley and works on policy, recommended a practical neighborhood strategy: organize walk‑throughs, videotape locations where sidewalks and crosswalks are needed, and submit the footage to staff to support requests. "We should have a walk together through our neighborhoods and videotape places where sidewalks and safer crosswalks are needed so that we can request the improvements as it is first come, first served," the minutes record. The board encouraged residents to send videos to Adam.
The board also proposed inviting PBOT to a future PVNA meeting to explain planned changes on 122nd Avenue. Members said documenting problems on 122nd and other local streets could strengthen requests for sidewalk and crosswalk work that would compete for available funds.
