The Roxborough Village Metropolitan District Board unanimously approved updated repair estimates for work at Crystal Lake, voting to proceed with pump, motor and check-valve replacements.
During the special meeting on Jan. 5, Chairperson Ephram Glass presented revised quotes for two separate scopes of work. The Board approved $10,193.32 for pump and motor replacements and $10,498.57 for the check valve and other replacements, with estimated freight costs of $400 and $500 for each respective quote. "Following discussion, upon motion duly made by Director Glass, seconded by Director Linhardt, and, upon vote, unanimously carried, the Board approved the updated costs," the minutes record.
The motions were made and seconded on the record and carried without dissent. The Board did not record any conditions or amendments to the contracts at the meeting. Arvada Pump was referenced in meeting materials as the contractor the Board had negotiated with on terms; the minutes state the proposals were older and required the Board to approve updated costs before moving forward.
Next procedural steps are to finalize terms with the contractor and schedule the work. The Board did not specify an exact installation date at the meeting; freight and exact start dates are to be determined as the contracts are finalized.
